Received a call from this number; the called ID showed it to be ALL WORLD FINANCIAL.  When I went to answer it, all I got was a piece of a recording, stating that "that extension is not an option -- please hang up and try again".  Needless to say, we will be blocking this number from even ringing through the next time.  Thanks for the information provided previously.  This makes the decision to block the number easy!

My Google Voice number -- which NO ONE knows because I don't use it -- got a call from this number.  It has to be a random dialer hoping to find someone to give up personal information.

I just got the same scam call, saying it was Mellon Bank and they were sorry to inform me that my Visa card had been locked and to press #1 to speak to a person, I hung up..Another Scam

954-582-2469 Just called my cell phone to inform me that my Visa Card had been "Locked", & to press "1" to respond...sad to think of how many will fall for scams like this.

Just got a call from the 954-582-2469 said my visa card was called in lost. I don't think so!
Since this number supposedly originates from Florida and I live in Florida and my phone is on the do not call list I reported this number to http://csapp.800helpfla.com/CSPublicApp/Complaints/DNCComplaint.aspx

I suggest anyone who gets a call from this number to file a report!

I received the same call from 954-582-2469 with the automated message, stating that my debit card was suspended.  I listened to the recording for a short time and then hung up.  Within 12 minutes of this call, I received another call from 401-424-9150 with an automated message stating they'll lower my credit card interest.  Both of these calls were made to my cell phone.  I only give my cell phone number to friends and family, never businesses.  Thankfully I knew both calls were scams, it's just such a waste of time.  Eventually these companies will get trusting people and they'll personal information will be given out.  It's sad they have to resort to these practices.

i just got this number in my personal cell phone.  claims to be "the travel department" and they thanked me for calling back and asked me to hold.  HA!

Yep, same thing happened to me today on my cell phone.  The claimed to be Summit Bank.  Um, I don't have a Summit Bank debit card you morons!

I just got a call from this number as well. However there was no person on the other end. I was suspicious so I went online and glad I found this post as well.

Oh, and also, if they're calling me, why would they need me to type in my full 16-digit card number? They know what it is, after all.

I just got a call from this number myself, also saying that my debit card had been suspended, and while the computer-generated voice mentions some bank, I didn't catch the name of it. However, since my only debit card is with my credit union, I was immediately suspicious. Then when my only option was to transfer to their 24-hour automated system and type in my account number, I had serious trouble believing it was legitimate since any real financial institution would have a person available to talk to if you had to deal with card security issues.

My wife got a recorded message from this number stating that our debit card had been "suspended" and to call a number (which she did not get).  Further research on the Internet (which is limited) seems to link this to a phishing scam trying to get you to call in your debit card number to someone.  Needless to say do't do it!
