Every account number and password that is on your computer, change it, on the phone or in person. Don't use your computer until the malware is cleaned off.
Take your computer to a service to have the malware cleaned off of it.
If it was me, (It wouldn't happen to me, but if my mom fell for it, I would do a clean reinstall of the OS.)
Stop answering the phone for people you don't know.  If it's important they can leave a message.

So how do you fix it if you gave em access? i did do the Ammyy Admin - Free Remote Desktop Access Which Im sure i did!!!!  Uggg. MORON!!!

Over the past month I got 3 calls from them. One time I ignored the call and the other two times I was board so I acted like I was doing what they wanted me to do then 30-45 mins later I told them they were a scam.

Thanks everyone! Got a call last night same as everyone else relating to the "Microsoft Windows Operating System sending error messages.. They wanted $299 to fix our computer and give us a lifetime contract to fix it whenever we needed after that. We hung up right away. I wonder how they got our phone number?

I got a call from this number. The man had called me three times in a hour while I was working. He had an accent. I told him to take me off his call list and that I have told them to do this in the past. He asked why I was talking to him like this and like he was stupid. Very weird call. It was about something with college grants. I just hung up on him again like I had done in the past. UGH!!

Got a call from this number and was greeted by dead air for several seconds to which my "Hello?'s" got no response.  Finally a heavily accented woman hesitantly said "Hello, I wish to speak to George"  George is the name almost all of the spam calls I have received lately have been directed toward, and it is not me.  Another number for my personal block list.

Note: at least in this instance, the company that owns this phone number ignores the National Do Not Call Registry.

I got a 3 calls today from this number didnt answer any of them I went right online to look up the number unfortunately my phone is paid for by my fathers company and he's the only one who can block numbers from my phone and apparently its quite a process with verizon I was wondering if anyone knew of something I could do any way of blocking them myself immediately?

I was called about 10 am French time and told just like Scott Benedict that we submitted several Error messages - this is true - and I was told I had to make changes to my computer. I said I would not.
"How do I know you are who you say you are?"

"You have to believe me."!!!! I did not!

The voice was heavily accented, my impression was that it was Asian, whereas I would expect US or Spanish normally from Florida. He was quite aggressive and rang back, probably twice, but the first time i was not by the phone. I said I had checked and he hastily said, "Who said we were Microsoft? We are an independent Computer specialist!"
(So even more reason not to have access to our computer!"
As our computer manager, a friend and former Microsoft employee, was looking at it only yesterday, I said I would not do anything. under any circumstances,

I just received a call from this number.  She said she was calling from U.S. Department of Education and wanted to send me financial aid.  I told her I did not think she was from Dept of Ed and i didn't want to hear from them again.  I tried calling back to see how answered and call would not go through.

Don't know where this number is from.  Missed the call and tried to call it back and got one ring then a busy signa.

I disconnected the call. I got my windows system checked locally, but there were no infections or viruses in my system, they even tried to connect the Ammyy Admin - Free Remote Desktop Access, PC Remote Control but I didn't allowed them to do so as I know that if I gave them access they can even crash my system then and there.

In another instance about a month back I got a call from the same number 954 688 3011 whereas they were trying to sell websites.....

20-30 multiple calls over 6 week period with "Jenny12426" showing up on caller ID.
Reporting a Microsoft Windows Operating System error, and needing to check for spyware.
Always ignored requests to remove me from calling list. Finally had to yell at "Nash" to get him to listen and he hung up. He had the audacity to call back 5 minutes later, and I demanded phone number and company name. Given this number and "cyberpc.com" as company name. Number is always busy when I try to call back. Haven't received any more calls so far....if it smells like a scam, walks like a scam, talks like a scam...it is!

They called wanting to sign me up for College.  I am 62 years old, already have 3 degrees, and retired.  Do I really NEED to go to College again at this point in time?  Thick foreign accent.  Wouldn't take "leave me alone" response.  Hung up on him.

They call all the time asking for "Phillip". Caller always has a foreign accent. Have asked them repeatedly not to call.

They Called and didnt leave a message. I tried to call it back but it has a strange ring... i blocked it

Got a call from "Windows Operating System" wanting to fix illegal downsloads. Asked to download a remote access program and for ID numbers. I asked numeous times for a phone number so that I may verify the issue, they gave me this number.

They are pretending to be from Microsoft, telling me i have a problem with windows.

Called 3 times in a row in a short time but never left a message, came from Florida (Cape Coral and Pompano Beach appear to have this number from a lookup I did) Did not answer just to be safe...

Got a call from this phone number --- I block these numbers so that I now have a list of over 300 blocked call numbers. I don't really receive many telemarketing calls anymore because of the ability to block numbers ---

Anyway,
got this call ---
trying to sell (SELL! Mind you!) grant services for going to school (university, etc.,...)
Gotta be a scam! ---

They've now joined the infamous list of those being blocked! And they'll never be heard from again, at least not by me!
