Mr.Brian,
My husband and I just recieved a letter involving the Regal Cosper #1 Joint Venture, letting us know it has began drilling. We never remember joining any of your investments of any kind. Also attached is a letter telling us that SEVERAL of your companies as well as yourself and Terry Gray are being sued for many many things including misrepresentation, violations of certain proviosions of the Texas Securities Act, fraud, and negligence. This was filed June 20, 2012! This is not a good way to get investors sir. I do not believe, unless you can prove me wrong, that this is a legitamite venture to invest in!

How do you get them to STOP calling? We are on the do not call list, we have no business with them and never have and they call consistantly. They are rude and pushy. If we hang up on them they call right back. We cannot have our business lines tied up on garbage! Anyone have any tips on how to make them stop calling?

Either your attorney told you to stay off this website, or you realized I hit this right on the head.  Noticed a lot of posts are missing from back in 2008.  What happened to those?  None of them were untrue.

To answer your question about Antoinette Rand (Sentry Energy Production LLC) family scammers and when they were sentenced/jailed.

http://blogs.star-telegram.com/crime_time/201 ... gas-scheme.html

Odd how after maintaining their family was totally innocent of committing any crime THEY ALL PLEAD GUILTY.

I wonder when the law will catch up with Antoinette Rand, her mother Maryann Rand and her sister-in-law Anne Rand (wife of Bill Rand)?

Brian, you're investments suck.  That's why people slam you and there are no positive replys.  If there were content investors, I am sure one of them would have commented since 2007!  Wow you think your good.  The only thing you are is RICH from taking peoples hard earned money, and putting it into these hardcore overpromoted deals that will never pay their principal back.  Money is not the cure all Brian.  Its too bad you have let your talents and ability to lead, go in the wrong direction.  I sometimes wonder if guys like yourself have any morals.

They forgot to redact my name. Today's newbie didn't know that their last 5 wells had returns of 4%, 7%, 2%, and 6% with the fifth too new. They also didn't have an end date to raise money or return it. Expect a new round of calls.

Mt. Boy...  you mean you are suprised that the shills have been laying low? Maybe someone finally enlightened them how google works.  As for happy investors? You are kidding... right?

Even disgruntled victims won't "come forward" online unless they know how google works.

I swear these foul thieves all have weekly get-togethers to share. I have seen several other scammers begin new scam companies once they'd been prominently outed online.  If it weren't websites like this, many, many potential investors would continue to become victims.

Good reading in the Bossier Parish courthouse in Louisiana.  Regal Energy failed to pay for royalty conveyances and refused to cancel the same from the face of the public records despite demand to do so.  That was back in March, 2009.

I googled Red River Securities and you were right. Brian Hardwick CEO is prominently listed as the fellow who is running the show over there according to their company website.

So are we talking a little bait and switch here? When the internet makes it too difficult to scam investors under your old scam company name you just shift gears and set up shop under a new company name designed to steal investors' money?

Where's Mr Brian Hardwick CEO of Regal Energy now? Could it be that his dramatic decrease in business has freed up his time to run a new scam company under the name of Red River Securities too?

Hey, if Antoinette Rand of the scamming Rand clan of Aspen Exploration (all the male members of the family now behind bars due to a guilty plea) did it with Sentry Energy Production LLC...  then why shouldn't Brian Hardwick of Regal follow suit?

Over 10 years ago, I was employed for only four months - from 05/2001 to 09/2001 - at that company, which was disclosed on FINRA broker check. I do not believe that could qualify me as a ?protégé? of those individuals, nor did it contribute to my education in the oil and gas industry.

During that time I saw nothing that might suggest activities which were to occur four or more years after I left.

For all interested in meaningful due diligence, please see my employment history at:
http://www.finra.org/Investors/ToolsCalculators/BrokerCheck/.

I am open to having you call to discuss further in a positive and progressive way, but it seems that many of the posts made are not for helpful due diligence, but rather for fear mongering.

The only poster, in my view, that has had any substance to his argument was the criticism of our staffs' reference to past performance and future success. I also liked his football and roulette analogies, and took many of his criticisms to heart in an effort to improve our organization.

Our companies are in good standing with all regulatory agencies and we take great care in all aspects of our operations, especially in treating our clients fairly and honestly.

We are always open to suggestions and criticism, but we don't appreciate being judged on the basis of a brief association lasting only four months more than a decade ago.

Regards,
Brian

Why don't we ask the Rand family of Aspen Exploration, Wave Energy, Sentry Energy Production LLC to name a few of the scam companies they ran about "how it works"... as all of the men in that family have plead guilty to stealing 68 million dollars from investors in oil and gas fraud and one of the largest Ponzi schemes recently perpetrated.

I've never heard of any investor who ever made money in the Barnett Shale... except of course for your "happy investors."

It's people like you, the Rands, and every other oil company cold-calling that has caused untold numbers of investors to have their money stolen. From the cold-caller to the the CEO, they all know there is no way in hell that the investor has any shot at a return on their investment from the moment they punch the numbers to get through to a potential investor. Yet all that you scammers can offer is "they knew the risks when they invested and are just crying like babies now that their money is gone."  Their money isn't gone. It's in your personal bank accounts for exotic cars, strip clubs, narcotics, and gambling binges in Las Vegas.

While we are at it, why don't we ask Mr Barber of T-bar Resources "how it's done." I guess he won't be able to comment ...unless they have internet at Club Fed for the next 99 years.

Based on all of these facts, common sense dictates that you will be next.  And I hope you get 99 years like Mr Barber. That is unless you p**sy out like the men in the Rand Family and plead guilty for a mere 20 years. That's a pretty stiff sentence for "a parking ticket."

I'm now taking bets as to how long it will take Antoinette Rand, Maryann Rand and Anne Rand of Sentry Energy Production LLC to join their men behind bars where they belong.  There's getting to be quite a long line of "parking offenders" in the state and federal prison system. Fact is, the chances of any investor recouping their investment money from a cold call from an oil and gas boiler room is about as probable as turning a goat into a thoroughbred and winning the Kentucky Derby.

Brian:

You said that you would be happy to discuss issues, but I haven't heard from you about my 12/15/2010 letter I sent you. It referred to several things that in my opinion deserve a Bozo Alert. The following was part of that letter.

However, that's not what will get another Bozo Alert. That's due to inexperience; why I want to see significant experience when I invest outside my area of expertise. Your closer gets you another Bozo Alert. He called and made a ridiculous statement. I questioned your company's competence showing 5 wells; 1 just in production and in my opinion, the other four had dismal returns. He said, "That doesn't mean the next one won't be a winner. Past performance doesn't mean anything." What a crock. I assume your lawyer put you between a rock and a hard place; if you don't disclose your dismal results, you get sued; when you do, no one with money will invest.

In independent events, such as the roulette wheel or craps table; each event is independent; although the accepted record for consecutive "Blacks," independent rolls, is 14 in a row; 1 in 168,000 throws. However where expertise counts, past experience does matter. Would you want a heart surgeon  who is performing his first or 1,000th open heart surgery? I assume your closer would prefer the rookie. I guess your closer drank Jerry's cool aid and thought the Cowboys are a better team than the Steelers, since recent past performance doesn't mean anything.

Thanks for the insight to all who have posted.  I have been getting "cold-calls" from a rep named "Chris."  I have put him off a couple of times, asking for further time to read and digest the "prospectus" and any other material I can find (this blog, for example).  I am sensing an increasing mood of impatience with this fellow in our calls.  I am being challenged by questions and remarks like, " why wouldn't you do it, especially if you could make 20 to 50% on your investment?"  I asked him how they got my name and phone number here at work.  No answer.  I have a slick portfolio from Red River Securities, and it all looks great as far as that goes.  The lingering questions that disturb me have to do with what happens to the initial investment, and the market prices they are quoting for Nat Gas in their "economics" section which details potential returns.  I am told by Chris that the initial investment money is spent and gone.  I think I can do better in the stock market with SWN or Freeport-MacMorran.  For now at least, I will stay away from this wild-catter and keep better tabs on my money.

I can tell you that the CEO has learned from the best on how to raise money from the Rand Brothers at Aspen Energy, who have been shut down by the FBI and are facing multiple charges for fraud.  Brian has zero interest in making his investors any money, which is why the deals are written so the investors carry all the expenses and Brian makes a ton of money on the over promotion of drilling the wells.

If you don't every want to see your money again invest all you like.

This is a Bozo Alert. The Bozo who called me said he was with Red River but the Caller ID said Regal Energy. He obviously has burnt out. He went into "Insult Mode" at the very beginning. He asked specific questions that he didn't need the answers to. If he had any sales skills, he would ask general questions that got the needed answers. His sales skills need vast improvement.

That said. Don't consider doing business with any company who hires Bozos as salesman. If one's first impression is negative and the Bozo thinks it's good business to insult prospects, the company is guilty by association; they hired and aren't supervising the Bozo. Or maybe that's how they do business as at least one poster said.

I have posted an account of my conversation on several investor sites similar to Craig's List. Do you think they were positive or negative?

Well - I am impressed that a CEO takes the time to put down claims against him. I have invested and I am aware of the risk but just as I have investments across the board, risk varies.  So if I lose $ 25,000 then I made a mistake and I will not blame Red River or Mr. Hardwick. Maybe I will go down to Texas,  visit my brother in Schulenberg and check out Wells and Wise Counties
