Got a voice mail message from Al Hartwell from C Transitions Company regarding a private interest firm....etc. etc.  My staff knows when to put calls directly into my voice mail.  These types of calls remind me of phishing scams regarding someone interested in your business.  Sorry not interested.

This caller is Al Hartwell with Transitional Companies.  When asked what the call was regarding, he stated it was in reference to a private business matter.  I'm a 25-year veteran at my present job...trust me on this, when a caller says "private business matter" it is general bullcrap.  Keep your guard up people - they are everywhere!!

I'm also an Admin that answers phones and I got a call from Al Hartwell, his message was - this is a private message for my boss and it's confidential and time sensitive.  He is with The Transitional Companies... sorry pal but your message is in the garbage... :o)  

Same here Al Hartwell asking for the owner or their voicemail. Denied both and he left the message with me saying its a private, confidential time sensitive matter for the owner to call him back.  Uh huh get right on delivering that message!

Same thing...This is Al Hartwell as if I am supposed to know who that is...LOL...no message except call...must have asked for the Pres/Owner and got VM.

Yep, those calls don't even make it to the voice mail (I am the receptionist among MANY other things).  Good luck getting through Mr. Hartwell...

Also received call from Al Hartwell (no company name given).  Receptionists are wise enough to put these calls for the CEO into my voicemail.  It's the usual scam call regarding a private interest in the company that is, of course, confidential and time sensitive...

He is from Transition Companies out of Dallas, TX. They offer to buying & sell companies.

Me too...at my business. He left a message, but did not mention his company name? did you get one?
