called but left no msg. when i try to call back, i just get an immediate busy signal. i don't have insurance with bcbs. she must have dialed the wrong number.

Received call from the number this afternoon. The message on the voicemail stated that it was BCBS of Texas letting me know about some additional information about a wellness program that I had signed up for. They left an 800 call back number and the caller's extension.

They are calling about a pregnancy wellness program for your insurance program through blue cross blue shield.

I got a call on 10/7 but is wasnt from someone at BCBS collection information. They were calling looking for my husband. This woman worked there and they were having an affair.

I got a call last night from ? BCBS. My husband said I wasn't available and she said she would c/b this morning. No call so far.

This is indeed from BlueCross/BlueShield of Texas.  It is their "dial-a-nurse" service either calling to let you know you have the service included with your insurance or responding to an inquiry you may have made regarding a health situation.  My representative was very good about leaving a message and a call back number...which is not even close to the caller ID number.

On 1/30/09 4:45pm received call on my cell.  No answer.  Returned call, no pick-up, no message.  Caller id said it was of Texas origin.

972-669-1100 called, I did not answer and they left no message.  Interesting previous post about BCBS of Texas, I carry that insurance and last week the nursing management service did call...may just be that again

THIS MAN JUST CALLED ME @ WORK HIS VOICE WAS SCRAGLY HE CLEARED HIS THROAT HE SOUNDED LIKE A AFRICAN, IM SCARED. HE CALLED FOUR TIMES IN A ROW, IM SCARED!

972-669-1100 is the main number for the nurse case management dept at BCBS of Texas.  Due to HIPAA regulations, case manager cannot divulge nature of call unless it is the specified patient.  The nurse was likely calling to follow-up regarding recent illness, or to initiate chronic disease management services.  Having a nurse case manager available is a nice thing to have.

Similar to the other person who posted on this number.  Caller is a woman with a very gravelly voice who asks for my wife.  When told that she couldn't be reached asked for another number.  Indicated that she was with Blue Cross/Blue Shield and couldn't divulge why she was calling.  When I refused to provide another number but would be happy to convey a message with the callers information she hung up.
