Have received many calls from this number reported to be from PCR (Pioneer Credit Recovery) they are a collection agency. I have requested my number be removed a number of times. According to a supervisor I spoke to they had multiple accounts for 1 person and that is why they kept calling. I am in hopes that they will now remove my number after speaking to the supervisor, and him seeing that it was listed for 2 accounts. They have also said it was regarding a Sallie Mae student loan.

We received a call from this number and the person making the call was suspicious prompting me to end the call politely.

The caller requested I leave a personal business note on my neighbors door but he refused to leave his name.  The very first comment the caller made was, "this call is being recorded."  

The caller was clearly fishing for information and ultimately wanted me to take action but was unwilling to leave his name or a clear message without seeming cryptic and deceitful.

Real person left msg said I was listed as personal reference and to call 800 number

I had to call back to get the business name of "Pioneer Credit".

Someone by the name of Bethany called me from this number. Says she's looking for...I think she said "Eugene Grayson" and that she had me down as the owner at the address. It's an apartment complex address where I used to reside years ago.

Have no idea who is calling or why.  VERY harassing as they have spoken to me, my daughter, tried calling Dan's work...asked for his birthdate.   Call every day but never leave any indication why they are calling.

Call from 9736023528. They call my cell phone daily, several times in quick succession and leave a voicemail on the 3rd call. 11:48am, 11:53am, 11:54am (left a voicemail). Now they are calling my parents house to say I used them as a reference, fishing for information.

The company is Pioneer Credit Recovery. They are trying to collect a debt from a school loan (Sally Mae). It is a valid debt, but one that is being paid off through other means. I'm not sure if they are valid or fraud, have not received mail from them as I've requested and the balance of the loan amount they list is much higher than the collection agency I'm paying and have verified through Sally Mae that they own the debt.

Seems fishy.

They just started calling - but with a vengeance -- they call at odd hours - just after 8am and just before 9pm - computer calling you for what I don't know - tries to trick you into holding on by giving the normal spiel of "all our operators are busy right now, we will be with you as soon as possible - you're call is very important to us," etc., etc.  Jerks - jerkier me for calling back to be put on hold, etc.  You'll never know what PCR stands for unless you hold on forever!!  ?? On your dime??

I reported them to the BBB today. They called here fishing for information. Would not tell me who they were or how they got my phone #. As I do not owe anyone I wanted to know what it was regarding and they refused to tell me. They said it was a business matter related to a relative.

No more calls

This company called PCR called, left a message but it was by a freakin computer.  Trying to get some money.

Pioneer Credit is the Company. They keep calling me as a reference for someone else. That someone they will not release any info about. They most likely owe them money. Told them to stop calling me.

Who is this?

I have received three phone calls in the last three days from this phone number.  They finally left a message for someone that I don't know and asked me to call Krista back at 866-267-0282.  I have had calls regarding this individual since 2005 and have told the callers numerous times that I don't know this person and to have my phone number removed from his file.  That has not happened.  I feel that I am being harassed by these collection companies and I'M NOT THE PERSON THEY ARE TRYING TO FIND.

do you know what company it was? they called my phone looking for my husband and left an 866# to call back with a ref # so i dont get it

They called me (employer) for a verification of employment.
