Called at 5:16 PM today.  Music for several seconds and the silence.  A male came on the line asking to speak with me in Spanish.  When I asked who was calling - in English - he replied,  with a heavy Spanish accent, "Do you speak Spanish?"  I then said, "Not enough to have a conversation with you."  At which he hung up.

Call was at 8AM on 7/18/2008.  No message left.  At first thought it was friends in Canada but no.  The destination is a cell phone and it is on the "Do not call" list but that has not stopped a rash of people who are trying to scam me about "refilling my medications".  I have submitted complaints to the FCC and the "Do not call" list but appears to have been useless since I never hear from them after that except an acknowledgment that I submitted a complaint.  What's the point?

It would be polite if folks who get a wrong number just say so when they realize it.  I suppose that is too much to ask so I always try to hunt down numbers I get from missed calls but no message especially if they repeat the call.

Called today-did not answer-no message.
